Simplifying Inductive Schemes in Temporal Logic
In propositional temporal logic, the combination of the connectives "tomorrow" and "always in the future" require the use of induction tools. In this paper, we present a classification of inductive schemes for propositional linear temporal logic that allows the detection of loops in decision procedures. In the design of automatic theorem provers, these schemes are responsible for the searching of efficient solutions for the detection and management of loops. We study which of these schemes have a good behavior in order to give a set of reduction rules that allow us to compute these schemes efficiently and, therefore, be able to eliminate these loops. These reduction laws can be applied previously and during the execution of any automatic theorem prover. All the reductions introduced in this paper can be considered a part of the process for obtaining a normal form of a given formula
HiTRACE-Web: an online tool for robust analysis of high-throughput capillary electrophoresis
To facilitate the analysis of large-scale high-throughput capillary
electrophoresis data, we previously proposed a suite of efficient analysis
software named HiTRACE (High Throughput Robust Analysis of Capillary
Electrophoresis). HiTRACE has been used extensively for quantitating data from
RNA and DNA structure mapping experiments, including mutate-and-map contact
inference, chromatin footprinting, the EteRNA RNA design project and other
high-throughput applications. However, HiTRACE is based on a suite of
command-line MATLAB scripts that requires nontrivial efforts to learn, use, and
extend. Here we present HiTRACE-Web, an online version of HiTRACE that includes
standard features previously available in the command-line version as well as
additional features such as automated band annotation and flexible adjustment
of annotations, all via a user-friendly environment. By making use of
parallelization, the on-line workflow is also faster than software
implementations available to most users on their local computers. Free access:

Dynamical spacetimes and gravitational radiation in a Fully Constrained Formulation
This contribution summarizes the recent work carried out to analyze the
behavior of the hyperbolic sector of the Fully Constrained Formulation (FCF)
derived in Bonazzola et al. 2004. The numerical experiments presented here
allows one to be confident in the performances of the upgraded version of
CoCoNuT's code by replacing the Conformally Flat Condition (CFC) approximation
of the Einstein equations by the FCF.Comment: 4 pages, 7 figures. Accepted for publication in Journal of Physics:

Relation-based Galois connections: towards the residual of a relation
Inma P. Cabrera, Pablo Cordero, Manuel Ojeda-Aciego, Relation-based Galois connections: towards the residual of a relation, CMMSE 2017: Proceedings of the 17th International Conference on Mathematical Methods in Science and Engineering ( ISBN: 978-84-617-8694-7) , pp. 469--475We explore a suitable generalization of the notion of Galois connection in which their components are binary relations. Many different approaches are possible depending both on the (pre-)order relation between subsets in the underlying powerdomain and the chosen type of relational composition.Universidad de Málaga. Inference of mixed information in Formal Concept Analysis
Negative information can be considered twofold: by means
of a negation operator or by capturing the absence of information. In
this second approach, a new framework have to be developed: from the syntax to the semantics, including the management of such generalized knowledge representation. In this work we traverse all these issues in the framework of formal concept analysis, introducing a new set of inference rules to manage mixed (positive and negative) attributes.TIN2014-59471-P of the Science and Innovation

On the notion of fuzzy adjunctions between fuzzy orders
